1. Overview
Hostao LLC operates HelpKit on a subscription-based model. This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which we offer refunds and the process for requesting them. By using our Service and making a purchase, you agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: New subscribers on any paid plan may request a full refund within 30 days of their first subscription payment.
- Service Unavailability: If the Service has been unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours in a single calendar month, you may request a prorated credit.
- Billing Errors: If you have been charged incorrectly or charged twice for the same period, we will issue a full refund of the duplicate/incorrect charge.
- Plan Downgrade: If you downgrade your plan mid-billing cycle, we will apply a prorated credit to your next invoice.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Subscription fees after the 30-day guarantee period has elapsed
- One-time setup or onboarding fees
- Add-on features or additional usage charges beyond plan limits
- Annual subscriptions after the first 30 days (pro-rated cancellation credit may be offered)
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at billing@helpkit.in with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your account email address and the reason for your refund request
- Attach any relevant documentation (e.g., screenshot of incorrect charge, downtime evidence)
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days.
5. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, please allow the following processing times:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
- Bank Transfers: 3–7 business days
- Account Credits: Applied immediately to your HelpKit account balance
Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider and country of residence.
6. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting support. Upon cancellation:
- Your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after subscription end, then permanently deleted
- You may export your data at any time before deletion
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund (see eligibility above)
