A well-crafted template is the difference between a successful campaign and a blocked account. Follow these guidelines to maximize results and stay compliant with Meta's policies.
The Golden Rules
1.Always get opt-in — Never message people who haven't consented
2.Deliver value — Every message should benefit the reader, not just your business
3.Be personal — Use the contact's name and relevant context
4.One clear CTA — Don't include multiple calls-to-action in one message
5.Respect frequency — Don't message the same contact more than 2-3 times per week
Template Structure That Converts
[Header] - Attention-grabbing (bold text or image)
[Body] - Value proposition + personalization
[Footer] - "Reply STOP to unsubscribe"
[Button] - Single clear action

What Gets Templates Rejected
•Making health claims ("cures", "guaranteed results")
•Financial promises ("earn ₹50,000/month")
•All-caps text
•URLs in the body text (use button section)
•Vague or unclear purpose
•Misleading variable placeholders
Quality Rating Management
Meta gives your number a quality rating (Green/Yellow/Red) based on recipient behavior:
•Green = Healthy, no limits
•Yellow = Warning, some limits
•Red = Restricted until quality improves
Monitor your quality rating in Settings → WhatsApp → Quality Rating.
