Shopify Integration — Order Notifications via WhatsApp
Shopify + HelpKit Integration
Connect your Shopify store to HelpKit to send automatic WhatsApp notifications for orders, shipping updates, and abandoned cart recoveries.

Installation
Option A: HelpKit Shopify App (Recommended)
1.In your Shopify Admin, go to Apps → Search → HelpKit
2.Click Install and grant the requested permissions
3.You'll be redirected to HelpKit to complete linking
4.Authorize the connection and select your WhatsApp number
Option B: Manual Webhook Setup
1.In HelpKit, go to Settings → Integrations → Shopify → Manual Setup
2.Copy your HelpKit webhook endpoint URL
3.In Shopify Admin → Settings → Notifications → Webhooks
4.Add webhooks for the events you want:
- orders/create → Order confirmation
- orders/fulfilled → Shipping dispatched
- checkouts/delete → Abandoned cart
Configuring Notification Messages
After installation:
1.Go to Integrations → Shopify → Notifications
2.Toggle each notification type on/off
3.Choose the message template to use for each event
4.Map Shopify variables to template parameters:
- {{order.name}} → Order number
- {{customer.first_name}} → Customer name
- {{fulfillment.tracking_url}} → Tracking link
Abandoned Cart Recovery
1.Enable Abandoned Cart in Shopify integration settings
2.Set trigger delay (default: 1 hour after cart abandonment)
3.Use the Abandoned Cart template (pre-built in template library)
4.Optionally add a discount code for conversion boost
Testing the Integration
Place a test order in your Shopify store using the test mode. Verify the WhatsApp message is received within 30 seconds.
